In the new styling by Ida Lauga, there’s an off-white Portal shelving unit with an opening for a TV. A combination that’s often requested, making the TV feel like a natural part of the interior. The sofa is from Meli Meli, the rug is from Layered, and on the shelves you’ll find ceramics by Fanny Schultz. All photographed by Fanny Rådvik.

Wie alles begann
The Portal shelving system was born in our first shop on Sveavägen in Stockholm. Back then, we were called Betonggruvan, and we built the shelf to display the products we were selling at the time. It was easy to assemble, airy and, above all, simple to adjust and rebuild. And it did a great job. So much so that more and more customers began asking if the shelving system was for sale. After some time at the drawing board, the shelf finally became a real product! Since then, we’ve added more combinations, heights, colors and accessories. And thanks to our customers’ ideas and wishes, we continue developing Portal together.
