In the new styling by Ida Lauga, there’s an off-white Portal shelving unit with an opening for a TV. A combination that’s often requested, making the TV feel like a natural part of the interior. Wie alles begann

Das Regalsystem Portal entstand in unserem ersten Geschäft an der Sveavägen in Stockholm. Damals hießen wir Betonggruvan und fertigten das Regal, um die Produkte zu präsentieren, die wir zu dieser Zeit verkauften. Es war einfach zu montieren, luftig und vor allem leicht zu verändern und umzubauen. Und es erfüllte seinen Zweck, so gut, dass immer mehr Kundinnen und Kunden fragten, ob man das Regalsystem kaufen könne. Nach einiger Zeit am Zeichentisch wurde das Regal schließlich zum Produkt. Seitdem haben wir weitere Kombinationen, Höhen, Farben und Zubehör ergänzt. Und dank der Gedanken und Wünsche unserer Kundinnen und Kunden entwickeln wir Portal gemeinsam weiter.
