Shipping policy

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Within Sweden, your order is delivered by DHL — smaller parcels to a service point and larger shipments via home delivery. In the Stockholm area, larger shipments are delivered by Bring couriers.

Within the EU and the rest of the world, shipments are delivered by FedEx.

Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country. We strive to deliver the products as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.

Customs

For orders outside the EU, the recipient is responsible for paying any customs duties and import fees. We recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order, as costs vary depending on your location, and the size and weight of the shipment. Please note that TÔNN furniture does not cover these charges.

Customs to U.S.

We are monitoring developments related to current and future U.S. trade policies. For more detailed and updated guidance specific to your shipment, please refer to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website: cbp.gov Import duty costs are not covered by TÔNN furniture.

Receiving Your Order 

The shelf ladders and shelves are delivered in flat packages. Drawers and cabinet are delivered assembled.

Important! When your order is delivered, please check that the packaging is not damaged before signing for the delivery. This is important in case a damage claim needs to be made to the shipping company. If you discover any damage, please contact us within 3 days of delivery and include clear photos of both the product and the packaging. Please also keep all packaging, as it may be required in the claims process.

When delivering by courier to your home it’s also important that you are on site during the agreed time to receive your order and the courier have the correct contact information to you. If you wish to change your telephone number, please let us know before we book the shipment.

Uncollected packages 

If you are not at home at the agreed time of delivery and the shipment is returned to us, a fee of €40 will be charged to cover return shipping and handling.

You are then welcome to contact us to arrange a new delivery, which will be subject to a new shipping cost. 

Delivery delays

We reserve the right for any delays in production. If your order deviates from the preliminary delivery time, we will notify you by e-mail.

Force majeure

Force majeure is included in our terms of purchase to manage unforeseen events beyond our control. These may include natural disasters, wars, strikes, or other unexpected events that may affect our ability to fulfill our commitments to you as a customer. If a force majeure event occurs, this may result in delayed delivery or our inability to fulfill our commitments in the agreed manner. We reserve the right to be exempt from liability for such events according to applicable laws and contracts. We always strive to inform you of any delays and to resolve the situation in the best possible way. We thank you for your understanding and patience under such circumstances.
