At home with Zara Zachrisson
At home with fashion stylist Zara Zachrisson in Stockholm, it's all about following her instincts. Here, fashion and interiors come together in a personal mix of favorite pieces, books, and details that have found their place over time. Zara's Portal shelf is filled with her beloved, heavy books and magazines. With Portal's extension legs, the shelf gets extra-long front legs, allowing it to fit neatly over the beautiful high skirting boards.

Hi Zara! Where are we?
At home in my little apartment in Stockholm.
When do you feel most at home, especially now that the days are getting darker?
When I have absolutely nothing I need to do! I love days when I can just wander around at my own pace, put on some music, potter around with little things, and maybe stretch out on the sofa for a bit longer than I probably should. Especially after I've been away working.

Your home feels just as thoughtfully put together as your styling work. What's your approach to styling your home, and how does it differ from styling a person?
I think I mostly just follow my gut and choose things I really like, rather than planning how everything will work together. The TÔNN shelf was one of those choices. I actually think I'm pretty bad at interior design, so it's funny to hear that it feels well thought out, haha.

What's on your Portal shelf, and how did you approach styling it?
The Portal shelf is perfect for all my heavy books and magazines, and it turned out to match the wall color perfectly. Sometimes you just get lucky :)

Thank you, Zara, for letting us take a peek inside your home!
